Employing 390 people worldwide, ENGIE Global Markets is an established actor in Europe and Asia with trading platforms in Paris, Brussels, Rome and Singapore, and conducts business activities in 40 countries.
Building on ENGIE's 150 years of experience as an international energy provider, EGM delivers high-quality service to a global customer base through a comprehensive coverage of the energy mix. Committed to expanding our international reach, we leverage ENGIE's presence on all continents, with a particular focus on fast-growing markets.
Thanks to this long-standing market expertise and the capabilities of our parent Group, we are recognized as a reliable player with high credentials in the dynamic Asia-Pacific region.
EGM provides market access and risk management services to ENGIE Business Units in the region, and to external counterparts all along the energy value chain. Its offer of customized solutions meets the needs of a diversified client base, ranging from upstream to downstream: energy producers, utilities, refiners, shippers, transport companies, distribution companies, financial institutions and large industrial groups.
Our Singapore platform trades a wide range of financial products, including crude oil and refined products, coal, power derivatives and Asian LNG references such as JCC and JKM. In 2015, ENGIE Global Markets traded approximately 1,000 TWh energy equivalent volumes.
We support ENGIE's expansion and competitive development in Asia-Pacific, and study opportunities to further develop power and gas activities in Asia, in light of the forthcoming liberalization of energy markets in countries such as Japan, China and India.
